What is المَصْدَر?

المَصْدَر The Verbal Noun expresses the concept of an action without specifying time or subject, like English "-ing" forms or infinitives.

كَتَبَ → كِتَابَة

"he wrote" → "writing"

دَرَسَ → دِرَاسَة

"he studied" → "studying"

ذَهَبَ → ذَهَاب

"he went" → "going"

Why Learn Verbal Nouns?
