1. مَدْرَسَة (madrasa) – school

أَذْهَبُ إِلَى المَدْرَسَةِ كُلَّ صَبَاحٍ.

Adhhabu ilā al-madrasati kulla ṣabāḥ.

I go to school every morning.

2. مُعَلِّم (muʿallim) – male teacher

المُعَلِّمُ يُشْرِفُ عَلَى الدَّرْسِ.

Al-muʿallimu yushrifu ʿalā ad-dars.

The teacher supervises the lesson.

3. مُعَلِّمَة (muʿallimah) – female teacher

المُعَلِّمَةُ تَشْرَحُ الدَّرْسَ بِوُضُوحٍ.

Ad-darsu al-yawma sahlun.

7. صَفّ (ṣaff) – classroom

نَدْخُلُ إِلَى الصَّفِّ فِي السَّاعَةِ الثَّامِنَةِ.

Nadkhulu ilā aṣ-ṣaffi fī as-sāʿah ath-thāminah.

We enter the classroom at 8 o'clock.

8. مِقْلَمَة (miqlamah) – pencil case

أَضَعُ أَقْلَامِي فِي المِقْلَمَةِ.

Aḍaʿu aqlāmī fī al-miqlamah.

I put my pens in the pencil case.

9. قَلَم (qalam) – pen/pencil

أَكْتُبُ بِقَلَمٍ أَزْرَقَ.

Aktubu bi-qalamin azraq.

I write with a blue pen.

10. دَفْتَر (daftar) – notebook

الدَّفْتَرُ عَلَى الطَّاوِلَةِ.

Ad-daftaru ʿalā aṭ-ṭāwilah.

The notebook is on the table.

11. كِتَاب (kitāb) – book

أَقْرَأُ كِتَابًا فِي اللُّغَةِ العَرَبِيَّةِ.

Aqraʾu kitāban fī al-lughah al-ʿarabiyyah.

12. مِسْطَرَة (miṣṭarah) – ruler

أَرْسِمُ خُطُوطًا بِالمِسْطَرَةِ.

Arsimu khuṭūṭan bi-al-miṣṭarah.

13. مِمْحَاة (mimḥāh) – eraser

أُصَحِّحُ أَخْطَائِي بِالمِمْحَاةِ.

Uṣaḥḥiḥu akhṭāʾī bi-al-mimḥāh.

14. سُبُّورَة (subbūrah) – board

المُعَلِّمُ يَكْتُبُ عَلَى السُّبُّورَةِ.
